Everything Bagel Tenders

Everything bagel seasoning skyrockets these chicken tenders to all new heights. Takeout chicken tenders are officially a thing of the past...unless they use this recipe.

*Sir Kensington’s Special Sauce is recommended for dipping.

  • 1.25 pounds chicken breasts (thin not thick, cut into strips, patted dry)

    1 cup all purpose flour

    1 teaspoon kosher salt

    2 eggs (large)

    2 cups panko breadcrumbs

    Everything bagel seasoning

    Sir Kensington's Special Sauce

 

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Step 2

Layout a "breading station": 1 large plate with flour, garlic granules and salt. 1 shallow bowl with whisked eggs. 1 large plate with panko.

Step 3

Dredge chicken strips into the flour mixture, then dip one strip at a time into the egg and then toss and press strips into the panko. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle each strip with the everything bagel seasoning.

Step 4

Bake the chicken tenders until golden, crisp and cooked through, for 20-27 minutes. Serve with Sir Kensington's special sauce for dipping.
