Activism || Earth Hour 2022!

Earth Hour was started by the World Wildlife Fund in 2007. Since then, it has grown to become a global sustainability movement.

Last year’s Earth Hour reached millions of people in a record-breaking 192 countries and territories. This year you have the chance to be part of it!

On Saturday, March 26 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is holding its annual global event Earth Hour, encouraging important landmarks, businesses, and individuals to switch off the lights as part of the world’s largest grassroots movements for the environment.

Together we can make a difference. We need you!

I am a Panda Ambassador with WWF and on behalf of the organization, I’d like to ask for your support of the event this year. Will you turn off your lights during the designated hour? As our global community continues to face unprecedented environmental challenges, Earth Hour helps to shed light on how one person can make an impact yet when thousands or millions join together—change is possible.

How to Participate.

To participate, download the image to the left, post the following to your social media channels, pass the word on to your friends and family. Then on March 26th, turn off your lights for one hour. Feel free to make it creative with glow in the dark gear or candles.
